Prerequisites

Experience
There are two options:
Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server 2003 and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 option:
• Two or more years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Office SharePoint Portal Server 2003: installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and custom development
• One or more years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007: installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and custom development
or
Content Management Server 2002 and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 option:
• Two or more years of hands-on experience with Content Management Server 2002: installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and custom development
• One or more years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007: installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and custom development
With either of these two options, the following experience is also required:
• A thorough understanding of Microsoft Office SharePoint 2007 Server design and architecture
• A thorough understanding of ASP.Net, Windows Server, IIS, and other core technologies upon which SharePoint depends
• Ability to speak, understand, and write in fluent English
Successful completion of the following exams and certifications
• Exam 70-630: TS: Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, Configuring (for IT professionals)
• Exam 70-631: TS: Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, Configuring (for IT professionals)
• Exam 70-541: TS: Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 – Application Development (for developers)
